Q: What is the weight limit on CAMPUS hammocks and hanging hammock chairs?
- All hammocks are made for adults and support up to 275 lbs.
- All hanging hammock chairs are made for adults and support up to 250 lbs.
Q: How can I hang my hammock?
You can hang your hammock indoors or outdoors. It can go between two sturdy tree trunks, a pergola, two posts, hammock stand or you can also secure it from walls using hanging hardware.

You can hang your hanging chair indoors or outdoors. You can hang your hanging chair swing from a sturdy tree branch, pergola, post, hammock chair stand or secure it from the ceiling using indoor hammock hanging hardware.
Q: Can I hang my hammock chair from the ceiling?
Yes, you can hang a hammock chair from a sturdy ceiling joist. A joist/wood beam can hold the weight of a hanging swing and people can sit on it safely. Keep in mind that a joist is a large wood beam that holds the weight of the entire house.
Q: Where can I buy the hammock hanging hardware?
You can find it at your local hardware store or for more convenience, we have a selections of options here in our shop.
Q: Can I leave my hammock, hammock chair or pillow outdoors?
We recommend using our hammocks, hammock chairs, and pillows in a covered outdoor area for added protection. While you can enjoy them outside, it's best to bring them indoors when not in use for extended periods. The canvas fabric is 100% cotton and is not designed for permanent outdoor exposure.
Rain and sunlight can weaken the fabric and cause mildew. If the item gets wet, please allow it to air dry completely before storing it away to maintain its quality and longevity.
Q: Are pillow inserts included with the pillow covers?
We don’t include pillow inserts because this allows us to minimize the package's volume. This helps reduce shipping costs, allowing us to offer lower shipping rates to USA customers and lower rates for international buyers.
Q: What size pillow inserts do I need to buy?
• 22" X 22" inch throw pillow covers require a 24" X 24" inch pillow insert. (For a plush and beautiful look, we recommend sizing up with these.)
• 12" X 24" inch throw pillow covers require a 12"X 24" inch pillow insert.
Q: What type should I get and where can I buy pillows inserts?
We recommend non-woven pillow inserts. They are lightweight, fluffy, durable, and provide good insulation. Retailers like Amazon and Ikea have lots of pillow insert options.
Q: Do all pillow covers include a zipper?
Yes, all our pillow covers come with a zipper closure. This allows for easy removal and cleaning of the cover. You can also adjust the filling to your desired firmness or replace it over time. Additionally, the zipper feature makes it easy to flatten the pillow cover for convenient storage, extending its life and versatility.
Q: Do you sell hammock stands?
We don't carry stands at this time. Retailers like Amazon have a few options. If you find one you like, you can rest assured that all of our Campus hammocks are designed to fit any regular size hammock stands or hanging hammock chair stands.
Q: What's the suggested hanging height for a hanging a hammock swing chair?
Our hanging chairs are adaptable and can be hung anywhere between 8 to 14 feet, accommodating various heights and spaces.
Q: How do I clean my hammock, hanging chair swing or pillow cover?
All hammocks and pillow covers are washable. Please hand wash and soak for 2-4 hrs. with a soft detergent. (Do not submerge the wood spreader bars in water). Lay flat to dry.
